Let the Night sing – poetic musings written by a renowned poet, writer, editor and translator Lopamudra Banerjee, was launched at a ceremony at the Doodle Room, Hazra on 29 th July.
The guests including Dr. Sanjukta Dasgupta, Professor, Dept of English, Calcutta University and Ms.Santosh Bakaya, Academician, poet and author and others appreciating the author said that she had highlighted various poetic musings on being a woman, a mother and a lunar soul in this poetic anthology.
They said this book would be an asset of mesmerising bunch of poetry. The poet in her speech thanked the participants for encouraging her.
The book launching ceremony included a brief speech by the author herself, who shared her experiences of writings through her life.
It gives me much happiness to share that my maiden poetry collection ‘Let The Night Sing’, an assortment of 70 various poetic musings on being a woman, a mother and a lunar soul has been published by respected poet laureate and veteran litterateur Madan Gandhi sir and Global Fraternity of Poets. – Lopamudra Banerjee.
